On January 3, Florence Pugh turned 27. As friends wished her well on Instagram, she demonstrated her popularity. But one specific friendship drew our attention. Ashley Park, who plays Pugh on “Emily in Paris,” shared a collage of adorable photos of the two of them together as well as a collection of videos highlighting their strong friendship.
Selfies of the couple eating pasta together, donning masks, and visiting the Valentino presentation during Paris Fashion Week in October were posted by Park on Instagram stories. Added she, “”Finding your other half” definition: @florencepugh From the bottom of my heart, happy birthday to you. Rome, Paris, the heart, the mind, and many more adventures lie ahead. cheers, always…” Pugh’s birthday was referred to as “an worldwide holiday in my books” by Park in another Instagram story that featured videos of the buddies laughing, cuddling, and having fun together.
Pugh shared the articles again and commented, “This wonderful lady entered my life in 2022. I’ll be thanking my lucky stars for that gift from the previous year.” Despite just having met a few months ago, it is obvious that the two actors get along well and have already made a lot of memories together. Maybe Pugh will make a cameo appearance in “Emily in Paris” season 4? As we type, it is happening!
One of our biggest celebrities, Park, wasn’t the only one to post messages of support for Pugh. The “Don’t Worry Darling” actor’s on-screen mates Simone Ashley and Nicola Coughlan of “Bridgerton” have demonstrated that they are also in real life friends.
Ashley, who portrays Kate Sharma in the Netflix series, wished Pugh a happy birthday by sharing a silly photo of the actress grinning at a large piece of cheese. It only makes sense that the two have shared cheeseboards as they both have the same stylist, Rebecca Corbin-Murray, who is in charge of creating the tremendous variety of looks that both stars will wear throughout 2022. According to Pugh’s Instagram, Ashley even attended the birthday celebration for Pugh at The Standard in London.
Soon after, Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington and will assume the lead role in season 3 of “Bridgerton,” uploaded an old photo of herself and Pugh from the British Vogue and Tiffany & Co. celebration from the previous year. She added a pink heart and the message, “Happy birthday @florencepugh you dote,” to the picture. Since the two have a history of commenting on one other’s postings on social media, may this developing friendship be something to watch in 2019?
A another British actor, Millie Bobby Brown, also wished Pugh a good day on Instagram. The “Happy birthday to this queenie, the Stranger Things star captioned a video of Pugh at the Venice Film Festival. I heartily adore you.” Do we have to join some club for young, hip British actors?
The fact that Pugh’s ex, Zach Braff, uploaded a cute picture of the celebrity sitting above the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles and referred to her as a “legend” with a white heart further caught the attention of fans. It’s encouraging to note that there is no ill will between the two as they recently collaborated on the movie “A Good Person.”
