In a podcast interview that came out not too long ago, Kris Jenner talked about how she has recently learned more about how the younger members of her family feel about marriage and children. Kris Kardashian talked about her own marriage to the late Robert Kardashian in an interview. She also talked about the fact that her children had children outside of marriage. Kris talked with Martha Stewart on a podcast from HeartRadio.
Kris said that she got pregnant with Kourtney Kardashian, her first child, while on her honeymoon in 1978. She also said that people did not usually have children outside of marriage back then. Kourtney Kardashian is her daughter. Her mother is Kris. In her words: “I tried to get pregnant with Kourtney for nine months, two weeks, and two days before I finally did. I know this because I’m sure that all of the Armenian women were counting… I swear I got pregnant while we were on our honeymoon. You should have known that back then… well, let’s just say I’m pretty traditional.”
When asked what she thought about the chance that her own daughters might have kids outside of marriage in today’s society, she said, “I get more and more understanding. I understand what this generation is saying, but because there are so many generations in my family at this point, there is a big age gap between us. I learned a lot along the way because I was exposed to a lot of new information that I had never heard of before. I think this is what’s going on. I’m okay with what’s in front of me right now. I like to think that once I figure something out, I can handle anything.”
Kris went on to say that no matter how hard her children make things for her, she will never leave them. Jenner has 11 grandchildren. They are all the children of her five children, Kourtney, Kim, Kylie, and Khloe. In the most recent episode of their reality show, the momager was seen trying to get her model daughter to start a family as soon as possible. Kendall Jenner is the only daughter of the momager who does not yet have any kids of her own.
