As the scandal surrounding the previous CEO’s abuse grows, SPIRE Entertainment’s Japanese media partner for the administration of OMEGA X has broken up their relationship.
TRIGGER WARNING: Abuse Allusion
Due to the incredibly harsh treatment by their previous CEO Kang, SPIRE Entertainment has recently been in the news for all the wrong reasons. The agency has received another withdrawal following the press conference that the OMEGA X members and their legal counsel conducted on November 16 where they discussed seeking to have their membership contracts terminated.
The SKIYAKI Media agency, which has partnered with SPIRE Entertainment for OMEGA X’s Japanese promotion licence, has chosen to end their agreement. They apologised to the supporters for any difficulty caused and cited the press conference as the main motivator for their choice. As a result, OMEGA X is no longer obligated to SPIRE Entertainment for its Japanese operations due to the termination of their contract with SKIYAKI.
ALPHA X
The K-pop boy band has come forward to discuss the mistreatment they endured at the hands of their management company, SPIRE Entertainment. The problem originally came to light after a fan said that they had seen CEO Kang physically abuse the members while they were visiting Los Angeles. The group’s return tickets were unilaterally cancelled after more, comparable witnesses stood forward, and they were made to return at their own expense. The group described the terrible instances in which they were reportedly subjected to threats, verbal and physical assault, and other forms of abuse by the previous CEO. They have chosen to file charges and will provide all pertinent supporting documentation. OMEGA X is now using an Instagram account for fan engagement that is not managed by their agency.
The group has submitted trademark applications for OMEGA X, FORX, and PROTECTOMEGAX, the hashtag developed by the fans.
