The sixth episode of the first season of House of Dragons just moved the story forward ten years. Since Milly Alcock played the younger Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen in the movie, Emma D’Arcy took her place. Fans were sad when Alcock left because the first five episodes had such an impact on them.
In a recent interview with Variety, Ryan Condal, who is in charge of House of the Dragon, talked about whether or not Milly Alcock’s younger Princess Rhaenyra will show up in flashback scenes. He said, when asked about the plans for the first and second seasons of the show, “I mean, I have no idea. They haven’t been added to the story we’re telling yet. We are not doing anything like that right now.” He went on, “But I’m not giving up hope.” “We still don’t have all the answers to some problems. Nothing is getting past me.”
In the most recent episode of the show, Olivia Cooke will take over Emily Carey’s role as Queen Alicent. Rhaenyra Targaryen will be played by Emma D’Arcy instead. Fans’ recent reactions show that both D’Arcy and Cooke, who will continue the series with the same main characters, have impressed them.
Because of how well the first season of House of the Dragon did, a second season has already been ordered. Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Fabien Frankel, and other actors also play the main roles in the show.
