Many people are unaware of the numerous hidden functions that APPLE has incorporated into its iPhone software.
iPhones come with a variety of useful tools that can be used to explore your phone’s features and learn more about it.
However, many users were unaware of a secret code needed to access some of these services.
We’ve compiled the top three codes right here for you to be aware of.
Locate your specific IMEI number.
Your smartphone’s unique identifier is called the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number.
If you wish to unlock an iPhone so you may use a different network, you could occasionally be asked for this.
You may use the number to track down a stolen or misplaced iPhone.
Use your dial pad to input *#06# to get your IMEI number, which should then show on your screen.
Improve your iPhone’s signal.
You can see when your cellular service is getting stronger or worse using a hidden “sub-menu” on your iPhone.
This is accomplished by turning your bars into numbers so you can easily see when the signal is stronger or weaker.
Simply input the code 3001#12345# on your iPhone keypad, and then press the green call button.
You should see a hidden menu appear, and you should select LTE > Serving Cell Meas from it.
You should see the number change if you move your phone.
Negative 50, negative 40, and negative 140 indicate poor service, respectively.
Block incoming calls on the iPhone
Users of iPhones have the ability to block unauthorised callers from using their phones.
If you’re lending someone your iPhone but don’t want them to make outbound calls, this function can come in handy.
Dial 33, your PIN, and then a pound symbol (#) to accomplish this.
Then just hit the green dial button to stop making outgoing calls.
