Iman Vellani is only 19 years old, but she is getting a lot of love and attention for how well she plays Kamala Khan in the movie Ms. Marvel. Given how good Vellani is, it will be hard for you to believe that Ms. Marvel is Iman’s first time acting. As we continue to count down the days until the season finale of the Disney+ show, which will happen next week, we can’t help but wonder what the future holds for Iman Vellani’s career in Hollywood outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
NME asked Iman Vellani about her plans for her career after Ms. Marvel in an interview to find out if she has any plans for her career. Iman was truthful enough to say this, “Nope! I had no idea that I could do anything like this. Ms. Marvel just showed up out of nowhere, which made me decide that I won’t plan my future. I’ve decided to just let life happen and see what happens.” In addition, Vellani couldn’t help but make a witty comment, “If it’s something you can do on your own, that’s great. It’s also fine if it’s Fast and Furious 29. I really don’t know! I’ll just go with the flow of things here.”
Iman Vellani has been quiet about her future projects in Hollywood that are not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), but we know she will be in The Marvels after Ms. Marvel. Brie Larson plays Captain Marvel, also known as Carol Danvers, in the eagerly awaited Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Phase 4 film. Teyonah Parris plays Monica Rambeau, and Samuel L. Jackson plays Nick Fury. Kamala Khan loves Captain Marvel a lot. Hallyu star Park Seo Joon will also be in the movie The Marvels, which was directed by Nia DaCosta and will come out in the US on July 28, 2023.
