Farhan Akhtar makes his MCU debut in ‘Ms. Marvel’s’ fourth episode. The director claimed Iman Vellani’s excitement is palpable. She plays Kamala Khan and Ms. Marvel. Farhan plays Waleed, the Red Daggers’ leader. Waleed helps Kamala Khan discover her superpowers and identity as she visits her grandmother in Karachi.
Farhan enjoyed working on the Marvel set. “Exhilarating! Fantastic setting and characters. In Ms. Marvel, Pakistani-Canadian rookie Iman Vellani plays a Muslim teen who discovers she has superpowers and a family history dating back to 1947. Kamala grew up in New Jersey playing video games and creating fan fiction. Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, a two-time Oscar winner for short documentary, and Meera Menon directed this series.
