Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has stopped putting out new episodes of her Spotify podcast during the official period of mourning for Queen Elizabeth II, according to a post on the platform on Monday.
Earlier in the day, the late queen’s husband, Prince Harry, paid a very personal tribute to her by talking about the time he spent with his grandmother and promising to treat his father, King Charles, with respect as the new ruler.
Since Harry and Meghan stopped being royals in 2020, they have grown apart from their family and have been very critical of Buckingham Palace and how they were treated.
Still, the brothers might be able to get along again after Prince William’s wife, Kate, and his heir to the throne, Prince William, joined them for a walkabout near Windsor Castle on Saturday without warning.
Meghan’s podcast, “Archetypes,” which has already had guests like tennis champion Serena Williams and American singer Mariah Carey, looks at “labels that try to hold women back,” according to its description on Spotify.
Before she got married to Prince Harry, the royal used to go by the name Meghan Markle, and she was on the TV show Suits.
On Tuesday, the queen’s body will be flown by plane to London. It will be on display at the Houses of Parliament Palace from Wednesday afternoon until the morning of the burial on September 19.
